We’ll now have two “Star Wars” movies that will be rated PG-13, as “The Force Awakens” now joins “Revenge of the Sith” as being suitable for ages 13 and up .
The rating was revealed over at FilmRatings.com via Making Star Wars, where they provided the documents below showing that “The Force Awakens” will be rated PG-13 for Sci-Fi Action Violence.
Can’t say I’m too surprised by the rating due to what we’ve seen and heard about the movie already, as I definitely got the feeling it would be more on the same level as “Revenge of the Sith” than “A New Hope.”
